Martinhoe Cleave Cottages are situated just below the hamlet of Martinhoe and set in a small private country estate, which overlooks the deep Heddon Valley. The densely wooded valley is situated on the Western edge of the Exmoor National Park and is close to some of the most beautiful and dramatic coastal scenery in Britain.
Whilst the final access to this row of three delightful holiday cottages is via steep and winding Devon lanes which preserve their privacy and feeling of remoteness, there are both villages and towns within just a few miles.
Built 30 years ago on the site of a former stable block, these cottages have been equipped to a very high standard and will accommodate two people each. They share an adjacent car park along with a large picnic area. There is a communal utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and drying rack. Also, there is a freezer for use by all the cottages and a payphone, as we have no mobile phone reception!
Each cottage has full central heating and the water is supplied from a private spring.
